Hetal J. Patel

Mr. Hetal Patel is the founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Aurotech, Inc. He has earned his undergraduate degree from University of Mumbai, India. Mr. Patel, along with his senior management team, work closely with federal government clients and industry partners to deliver on Aurotech’s promise of quality, high value solutions and performance helping customer realize their mission. Mr. Patel is well respected in the IT community for his commitment, integrity, professionalism and contribution to the industry.

Prior to founding Aurotech, Mr. Patel held positions at Oracle and Ernst and Young serving as systems architect and technolgoist. Over the years at these firms, Mr. Patel developed the discipline of leadership and managing people. He was responsible for winning some key accounts while at E&Y. Mr. Patel always had a desire to start his own consulting firm serving the federal government. It is while working at E&Y, he conceived the idea of Aurotech. He believed in simple philosophy - "If you can do it for someone, you can very well make it work for yourself." Thus Aurotech was founded in 1999.

In the initial years, he dedicated time to understand the culture, markets, FAR guidelines, importance of certifications and understand the challenges facing the government. In December 2006, Aurotech won its first prime contract and entered the mainstream market.

His primary focus is on leading the strategic growth and direction of the firm, while ensuring the highest customer and employee satisfaction. With his strategically aligned team and advisory board, Mr. Patel is pursuing opportunities in niche market – Portfolio and Work Management Solutions, e-Discovery and Litigation Support, and Healthcare.

On personal front, Mr. Patel is concentrating on promoting growth among the uneducated parents and youth of the community. He has started work with non-profit organization to Educate people by using technology in ways that helps restore their Hope and pave the way for a promising Future to give back to the society. “You make a living by what you get, but you make a life by what you give."
